FIBREFEST 2009

Fibrefest is an extravaganza of textiles and fibre organised by the Blackdown Hill Natural Fibre Group. It will be a festival of desirable textiles; gorgeous yarn to knit and weave with; fleece and fibre to spin and felt and animals to admire.

There will be a range of inspirational workshops and seminars for you to learn new skills or polish forgotten ones.

The event is to be held in the grounds of Coldharbour Mill, Working Wool Museum, Uffculme Devon (click here to veiw a google map). The Mill, currently open to the public http://www.coldharbourmill.org.uk/ , will play host to the event. The mill is a unique 200 year old processing and worsted mill and is utilising its recently restored water wheel to once again process and spin yarn for fibre producing farms, see http://www.fibreharvest.co.uk/
